One win, one loss for Steelers...


Last weekend Sheffield Steelers played hard and got a good result. Saturday was at home vs hard hitting Dundee Stars and Sunday was down in Cardiff vs the devils!

Steelers come with power which pays off in big win...


These two sides, who are in great form met last Saturday knowing it would be tough and they were right! Jeff Legue got the only goal of the first period coming at 15:53 firing past Dan Bakala in great form. 

The second period was a frantic one, just 38 seconds in, Rob Sirriani fired home to make it 2-0 Steelers. Not long later though, Nicco Sacchetti got Dundee back on the board and back in the game. It was now a one goal competition! However, steelers kept the game their way as Legue netted again at 29:23. They hung on and it stayed 3-1 until the next break! 

Stars tried hard to fight back but Steelers made sure they would never catch up and at 50:45 Aron Neil sealed te win to cap off another memorable night! Final score Sheffield Steelers 4-1 Dundee stars

Devils make it a 4 point weekend in close affair...



Both teams went into this clash battling for a four point weekend. Devils got off to the best start at 3:12 as Mac Faulkner scored to make it 1-0 Devils! They hung on to that for nearly the whole period until Stefan Myer scored for 1-1 at the end of the first period. 

The second period was scoreless despite good chances for both teams but the next goal would go devils way in the third period! Jake Morrisette scored a late 57:17 winner and Matt Myers sealed off a fab win with 15 seconds left into the empty net. Final score Cardiff Devils 3-1 Sheffield Steelers
