Heartbreaking weekend for Clan...

Braehead Clan have seen better days after last weekends slip. A surprising result at home last Saturday vs Hull Stingrays followed by an eventful game in Cardiff the next night.

Hull sting clan in tight pressing game...

Hull Stingrays are having a good and bad season so far! Last Saturday, they went up to Glasgow with a big game to come. Clan debuted forward Joe Cullen who scored just 11:46 into his time in the purple jersey. But with just 11 seconds left in the first period, a breakaway deke  goal from Carl Lauzon made the period go from a Clan lead to a tight tense game! In period two, Hull went in front for the first time to turn the game around as Jereme Tendler squeaked it past Kyle Jones at 36:29 for 2-1 Stingrays. It stayed that way until the third when Rays extended their lead to 3-1 to have them cruising and despite a goal Matt Haywood to make it a one goal game, Clan could not level and it was a final score of Clan 2-3 Stingrays

Clan win, but it comes at a cost...

Braehead Clan wanted a bounce back from the previous result vs Hull Stingrays as they traveled to Cardiff to face the Devils. A brilliant game from Kyle Jones saw him get a shut out. Almost. Braehead had the better first period with a goal from Matt Towe at 4:25 for a lead at break one. Into period two, and Clan put them in a great position. Chris Frank found the net at 29:25 to have them in control and the Scottish side had a boost going into the last period. The clock ticked down. Clan were hanging on for the win and when the final minute approached, Braehead fans were on their feet to cheer for a great win. However, Clans hearts were broken when Mac Faulkner broke Kyle Jones shut out with just a second left to leave Braehead stunned but Clan still took the points and celebrated the win but still had the mini heart-break in the back of their mind! Final score Devils 1-2 Clan
