Kings on verge of final, Rangers can get to the final tonight!!

Corey vs Jonathan... LA and Chicago goalies eye eachother ahead of a huge game 5 on Wednesday...

Incredible first period blasts Hawks, Kings put them on the verge...

A fight was expected by the defending Stanley cup champions on Tuesday night but LA Kings had this in mind and wiped out the Chicago Blackhawks after a 3-0 first period then early in the second made it four! It looked to be a blowout with the way the teams played. However, Hawks scored two without reply to spark some hope for the club of a shock comeback. One being a scruffy goal, but hey, they all count! Late on, Chicago pulled Crawford but they conceded with just over a minute left for a 5-2 score-line and a win tomorrow in game five will put them straight to the 2014 Stanley cup final for the second time in three years! NOT to missed!!

And, to tonight. One of the biggest nights of the playoffs or even full NHL season. If New York Rangers win against Montreal Canadiens at 1:00am, they will go to the Stanely Cup final 2014! Enjoy!! On nhl gamecenter!

LA Kings, at 2:00am can add the pressure as well to Chicago Blackhawks with a win. Watch via nhl gamecenter. Enjoy!! 😄

Ka pow...Slava Voynov about to fire LA Kings first goal in, Saturday night 24th May

The headline says it all, the NHL playoffs are on fire right now! The four teams left (NYR, MTL,CHI AND LAK) are playing to their strengths to reach the final. From the early season in October to the playoffs in April to now, its got better every single minute!

And last nights game between Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks proved just that. An early goal from Hawks captain Jonathan Towes was quickly tied up by Slava Voynov (pictured above). Only for Toews to score again a few minutes later and lead Hawks 2-1 after the first period.

Kings had better ideas in the second though, banging two in to lead 3-2 at the second intermission with goals in the second coming from Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli.

In the third, it was sealed as Drew Doughty made it three without reply to take the win in spite of Hawks pulling goalie Corey Crawford late on in the game. The extra attacker paid off with three seconds left, Patrick Sharp tipping in but it was simply not enough. Kings taking the series lead at 2-1! Last night, Chicago Blackhawks dominated LA Kings and should've won a lot more than the 3-1 scoreline! Hawks were on fire all night and deserve the --0 series lead!!

At 1:00am, New York Rangers meet Montreal Canadiens again after a huge 7-2 victory on Saturday night. Habs don't have starting goalie Carey Price in nets so an interesting change there. See if Habs can get revenge! Enjoy fans! 😉

The Montreal Canadiens did it last night! A 3-1 win against rivals Boston Bruins puts them against Rangers in the semis after they edged Pittsburgh Penguins out of the NHL tournament that has been full of surprises!

Minnesota Wild are probably the best team at home in the NHL. They have to use that vitally tonight as a loss against Chicago Blackhawks shall eliminate them. F/o is 2:30am.

Earlier at midnight, the type of game we all love. Game seven. Penguins and Rangers will play there hearts out. Winner goes to round three to face Bruins or Canadians. For the loser, the shows over!

Bruins rock Habs 4-2/ Rangers can force game 7 tonight

Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadians played out another battle last night in which both teams pushed. If they lose, game 7 will be forced.

In the Kings, Ducks series, there hasn't actually been a home win. Ducks kept that going as they beat LA Kings on their own patch 2-0!

Wild tie series/ Kings look for first win by home team in series

New York Rangers can't afford a loss now. Playing under pressure is always a challenge but NY took this well and kept themselves in the playoffs. They beat Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1 in good fashion and game six is forced.

Minnesota Wild did what Chicago Blackhawks did in round one. Came from 0-2 down in the series to tie it at 2-2! They won 4-2 last night to do so!

Dramatics carry on tonight. As you are probably aware, its the Eurovision song contest tonight and most of you will be watching on bbc one (good luck GB) and afterwards there will be more excitement with Boson Bruins vs Montreal Canadians at midnight. Winner takes a 3-2 series lead, this isn't to be missed if following or watching!  Whether watching Euro or doing anything else, be sure to catch the games, the other one being LA kings vs Anaheim Ducks. Every time these teams have faced in the playoffs, the away team won. Will it be the case this time round? F/o is 2:30am.

Friday, 9 May 2014

Fraser breaks crucial deadlock for Bruins/Pens can go through tonight!

A crucial round two game for Bruins and Canadians was a really entertaining match. Both teams defended amazingly resulting in 0-0 after 60 minutes. It went to overtime and just 1:19 in, Matt Fraser scores his first playoff goal to win the game. Series is now tied at 2-2!

Also Anaheim Ducks broke LA kings great streak with a 3-2 win at Staples centre in Los Angeles.

Possibly the best team of round two is Pittsburgh penguins so it would be no surprise if they beat NY Rangers tonight to go to round three. Midnight faceoff.

A series that looked to be a sweep for Chicago Blackhawks was broke the other day when Minnesota Wild put a halt to Hawks great streak. A win tonight would tie the series at 2-2! F/o is 2:30am. Enjoy tonights games! 😎

Thursday, 8 May 2014

Pens on brink of round three, Habs and Kings can repeat that tonight

Pittsburgh Penguins are now one win away from round three of the NHL playoffs following a 4-2 win over a fighting New York Rangers side!

Habs and Wild get revenge, Pens continue series with Rangers tonight!

Most would of said a sweep looked likely for Chicago Blackhawks as they were strong in the series against Minnesota Wild but as always, the NHL is full of surprises! Last nights game three between these sides was 0-0 still after two periods. A low scoring game or even sudden death overtime you would think. Not! Four goals appeared in the third period all coming from the Wild for a 4-0 shutout win for the Wild and goalie Ilya Bryzgalov!

Bruins and Canadians continued there battle, or war with these rivals. Habs led 3-1 late on but Bs pulled Rask and made it a one goal game. Only for Habs to score an empty netter for a tie series and 4-2 win!

At 12:30am, Fleury and the Pittsburgh Penguins take on New York Rangers again! Enjoy the game guys n gals! 😎

Fluery does it AGAIN, Hawks look to continue good run

Marc Andre Fleury. A man we talked about last night, saying he wanted to do what he did on Monday, on Tuesday! He got exaxtly what he wanted. Another shutout! A 3-0 win on Monday for the Pens was taken back to New York, and again, Rangers failed to get past Marc!

Also, LA kings made it 6 wins in a row as they beat Ducks 3-1. They mean business right now, the Kings are on a roll! Chicago Blackhawks look to do the same tonight! Like Kings, Hawks lost there opening few games of the playoffs and then went on to win all there matches after that! If Chicago beat Minnesota tonight at 2:00am f/o, they will have a streak of 6 games repeating Kings heroics!

At midnight, the great rivalry of Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadians continues with Habs looking for revenge after being comebacked on Saturday! Enjoy folks; NHL.com for updates!
