EIHL fixtures released! Hockey is coming home!!!!!!

The beginning...The first of the Elite league fixtures via eliteleague.co.uk

Since hockey season ended, the excitement of the action has been missed by us all. The journeys we went on with our teams, are now long gone and as we get on with our lives, we miss the drama that happens in hockey. A community, a family, a place where dreams come true and hearts are broken. It's more than a passion, it's part of our lives!

Missing it? Well today, the schedule for the new season was released which means one thing: Hockey IS coming back!! The schedule for the new season is better than ever with many competitive games and the enjoyable, magical game of hockey will return and this special game we love will return and we can be re-united with the hockey family for the 2014-15 season.

As usual the 10 teams will compete in the 52 game season starting September 5th when Belfast Giants start their league defence in Dundee with the Stars kick start their Gardiner conference defence. Stars and Giants will surely be a stunning start to the season as these two teams get the honour of bringing the EIHL back! Playoff weekend is 4th/5th April when it all climaxes!

Saturday night, the season gets straight back into full swing when Giants take to the ice again in the cup with Braehead Clan when the purple army return. Sheffield Steelers start their huge playoff defence against the Stars when they raise their proud championship banner! Cardiff Devils will host Hull Stingrays too not forgetting Fife Flyers vs Coventry Blaze!

The seasons sure to be a mega experience once again, we hope you'll enjoy it! Nottingham Panthers will start their EIHL campaign a week later due to Champions hockey league(CHL) action! They also have a few home games on 22nd August/24th August 2014. Good luck Panthers and also Belfast Giants (Continental cup) who will do us proud in Europe this season!
