On this day last week...
Last week marked an end to a short but action packed NHL season which saw Chicago Blackhawks claim the Stanley cup! They beat Boston bruins 3-2, but in dramatic fashion. Bruins led 2-1 with 1:28 remaining, hawks pulling netminder Corey Crawford. Just 12 seconds after that though, hawks slammed the puck past Tuuka Rask to start a nervous final minute. Shockingly, the windy city club left the bruins crowd in shock! They scored with 58.7 seconds remains in game 6!
What looked to be an easy win for bruins with Chicago pulling the goalie, a minute later it would be bruins pulling Rask and them in a panic but as the final hooter blew, Hawks won their second Stanley cup in 4 years!!!
